Raj Kapoor had great sense of music and the music of his films was very popular not only in India but in countries like Russia too. After the commercial failure of his ambitious film Mera Naam Joker in 1970, Raj Kapoor's films took a turn toward sensuality. In 1973, Raj Kapoor released Bobby, which started the trend of teenage romance in Indian cinema. He introduced Dimple Kapadia in Bobby who later went on to become a mega star. The film showed Dimple Kapadia in bikini, which was a bold attempt considering societal standards at that point of time. The Gila Monster

HO.
LY.

SHIT.

That's a big lizard.

Not surprisingly, it's not a threat to us:

The Gila monster (pronounced /ˈhiːlə/, HEE-la), is a species of venomous lizard native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. A heavy, slow-moving lizard, up to 60 centimetres (2.0 ft) long, the Gila monster is the only venomous lizard native to the United States, and one of only two known species of venomous lizards in North America, the other being its close relative the Mexican beaded lizard (H. horridum). Though the Gila monster is venomous, its sluggish nature means that it represents little threat to humans. However, it has earned a fearsome reputation, and is often killed by hikers and homeowners, despite being protected by state law in Arizona and Nevada.

The King of Forest

The King of Forest
The lion has a plain pale yellow or sandy coat but the tiger has black-stripes on yellow and black or white coat. The leopard is recognized by its black spots on tawny yellow coat. The leopard’s spot appear in clusters resembling a rosette, whereas the cheetah has solid black individual spots. Cheetah is a kind of Indian leopard called hunting leopard which has now died out. Some times one comes across a leopard that is entirely, called panther.

The male lion, when fully grown, has thick and shaggy mane of very long hair, which falls from the neck, shoulders and part of the chin. The lioness has no mane. Even in the male lion the mane doesn’t develop until the animal has completed his third year.

Tiger and leopards have no mane.

The leopard can climb a tree well, the tiger climbs badly. A lion can not climb a tree at all.

Lions prefer open country to heavy forest. Lions roar more often tigers do. They roar frequently at night and sometimes during the day. A lion is so powerful and muscular that he can strike down a buffalo with a single blow of his paw.

Lions we found mostly in the Gir forest in Gujarat in India. Formerly lions were common in northern and central India. But they often attacked animals so they were hunted and killed. In Africa, the lion still reigns supreme as the most powerful animal.

The lion is called the king of the jungle. So is the tiger. But they do not live like human kings. They have to hunt for their food.

Lion and tigers have the largest eyes amongst animals, excellent vision, as also an acute sense of hearing. They have sharp, long, canine and incisor teeth for tearing flesh.

India's 1983 cricket World cup

victory over the mighty West Indies is widely acknowledged as the defining moment in the history of Indian cricket. Under the spirit ed leadership of Kapil Dev, a determined Indian team exploited the English conditions to clinch the covet e d title.

India made their intentions pretty clear by shocking the favorites West Indies in th eir campaign opener. In their next match, India thrashed the minnows Zimbabwe with Madan Lal playing a pivotal role. However the euphoria over the successive wins was short lived as India was dealt out a 162 run thrashing from Australia just two days later.

India's second Group match against Zimbabwe unfolded high drama. Batting first, India was looking down the barrel with five wickets down for just 17 runs on board. But skipper Kapil Dev chose the occasion to lead by example and his whirlwind knock of 175 set the stage for a memorable Indian victory.

The final raised the specter of an Indian humiliation in the hands of the Goliaths of world cricket, the West Indies. Even though India had beaten West Indies in the group stage, the wise and knowledgeable of the game predicted a comprehensive win for the Indies.

Batting first, India were bundled out for 183 in the face of the hostile West Indian pace attack. However, when it came to their turn, the West Indian batsmen collapsed and ultimately fell short of the target by 43 runs. The Indian spirit was epitomized by an astonishing catch by Kapil Dev who sprinted back 20 yards to latch onto the skier from the marauding blade of the great Viv Richards.

As the news filtered through to the fans back home, it led to unprecedented scenes of jubilation throughout Delhi and Calcutta and the rest of the country.
