Cricket is Religion in India

After Winning World Cup(Kapil Dev), T-20(Mahendra Singh Dhoni) & New Version of Cricket In India as IPL, ICL
The Cricket get great Fans in India & they Feel Cricket is a Religion & Cricketer is a God.
Kapil dev, Sunil Gavaskar, Amarnath Bandhu, Navjot singh Sidhu, Ravi, Sachin Tendulkar, Mahender Singh Dhoni are
the Real Spirit Sport Person For Getting Indian Cricket In new Sky.

THOUGH PEOPLE in Indian sub-continent follow variety of different religions and Hinduism is regarded as the leading religion in this region. But today, the real India has a religion not heard by many, but followed by most India. Cricket is the biggest religion in India. This religion is quite phenomenal and has several gods who keep changing every few years or even months. Although, there is no holy book for this religion; people can remember the names and figures with ease.

India is considered as a poor country but still cricket, the rich man’s game, is the most popular. It is way ahead of other games and has overshadowed the national game ’Hockey’.

Cricket is a sport just like any other sport played by very few countries around the world. It resembles baseball in the way it is played. Each team has 11 players and the team that scores most runs in a day wins.

Indian cricket is not new, we adopted the idea of cricket from the British, who ruled over India for over two centuries. Even India’s Maharajas (Kings) used to play this game. Indians easily get emotional when it comes to cricket. Each game is watched with great intensity. When a match is won, the whole nation rejoices and when they lose, people just burst out with anger that many a times lead to premature end to the careers of some players.

Cricket, among the other sports, has also been lucky in terms of media attention. These days, media has become so powerful that it can make or mar a player’s career.

About Indian Politics After 1947

ndia After Independence 1947-2000
The story of the forging of contemporary India, the world’s largest democracy, is a rich and inspiring one. This volume, a sequel to the authors’ best-selling India’s Struggle for Independence, analyses the challenges India has faced and the successes it has achieved over the last five decades, in the light of its colonial legacy and century-long struggle for freedom. In doing so, it shows how unique the Indian experience is in the Third World—combining development with democracy and civil liberties.

With great insight and clarity the book describes how against great odds the Constitution was framed by seeking the widest possible consensus, as also how the Nehruvian political and economic agenda and basics of foreign policy were evolved and developed. Essential to the quest for consolidation of the nation was the integration of the princely states, the linguistic reorganization of the states, the integration of the tribals into the mainstream and the countering of regional imbalances. Among the other contentious issues considered here, with all their implications for the present situation, are India’s foreign policy, party politics in the Centre and the states, the Punjab problem, the growth of communalism, and anticaste politics and untouchability. There are detailed analyses of the Indian economy, including the reforms since 1991, the wide-ranging land reforms and the Green Revolution. These, along with the objective assessments of Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Jayaprakash Narayan, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Rajiv Gandhi, Vishwanath Pratap Singh and Atal Behari Vajpayee constitute a remarkable overview of a nation on the move.

Incisive, pithy and optimistic, India After Independence is a welcome introduction to contemporary India and reaffirms the strength of Indian democracy in the coming millennium.

About Pray of God in Hinduism

Many of you, I'm sure, are confused about the underlying philosophy of prayer. Consequently, often your prayers are not answered. Here, I attempt to provide some insights into the success of prayers.
Why We Pray
To begin with we must understand as to why do we pray? There are basically 12 reasons for prayer:
We pray to depend on God for help in distress.
We pray for asking God for enlightenment.
We pray for communion with God through single-minded devotion.
We pray for asking for peace from God when the mind is restless.
We pray for surrendering ourselves to God completely.
We pray to God for giving us the ability to comfort others.
We pray for thanking God for his blessings.
We pray for expecting God to decide what is best for us when we are in a dilemma.
We pray for making friendship with God.
We pray for melting the mind and ego in silence in God.
We pray for requesting God to give strength, peace and pure intellect

Two Parts of a Prayer
In essence, what the above 12 reasons convey to us is that a prayer has two parts: one is soliciting a favor from the Almighty and the other is surrendering ourselves to His will. While the first part is practiced by most of us on a daily basis, the second part is the real and ultimate goal because it implies dedication. Dedication means feeling the light of God within your heart. If your heart is devoid of divine light, you will not be happy, cheerful and successful in your lives.
Guard Your Selfish Desires
Remember, your success depends on the inward state of your mind. Your mind will create hindrance in your work if it is not in communion with God because He alone is the permanent abode of peace. Yes, I agree that most of us want to have riches, healthy lives, nice children and prosperous future. But if we always approached God with a begging attitude then we are treating Him as our bearer to supply the things required by us at once. This is no devotion to God but devotion to our own selfish desires.

Religious Mantras
Bija Mantras Bija mantra means seed mantras. First we should understand what is Bij? The word Bij means a seed and a seed mantra is generally of one syllable, it is also known as the root mantra. A seed letter is known as a Bija-akshara. The concept behind the Bija mantra is that, when a seed is sown it grows into a fruitful tree, in the same manner the pronunciation of a Bija mantra produces powerful effects called Shakti. Each Bija mantra has it's own power and significance and when pronounced with religious mantras brings in extra power to the existing mantra. Bija mantra is also beneficial for meditation.
